Laura Adriaanse has been riding for 18 years & teaching for six. Though her favorite discipline is dressage, she is no stranger to the hunter & equitation rings. Laura rode for the University of Mary Washington’s IHSA team, where she earned several high point rider awards and even pinned third at Zone IV Finals in 2015. After graduating, Laura turned her focus back to dressage, spending the 2016 show season competing at the USDF recognized horse shows. At the 2016 BLM Championships, she scored a 68% to pin seventh out of 40 riders in her championship class. In the spring of 2017, Laura moved up to third level and earned her USDF bronze medal. Laura owns one horse named Chai, whom she has had for ten years and has successfully competed in both the dressage & hunter rings. She teaches both dressage & jump lessons at SNF. Laura lives and works full time in Philadelphia but still spends as much time as she can at the barn with the horses and the SNF crew.
