4-H is NOT intended for those who want a casual riding experience. The following are the basic requirements set up by Second Nature Farm to fulfill the National 4-H's.
*Child must own or half lease a pony/horse
*Child must be 8 yo in the calendar year of 2010
*Child must work as assistant trainer 1 day per week at the barn, under one of the instructors supervision
*Child will be given a project book to finish by "Club Round Up" in June. Children will be working on these together
*Monthly field trips will be offered but NOT required
*Children show in the grooming and showmanship class at "Club Roundup"
*Child must pay a $50 fee & register with project horse by March 15th
